Rivaroxaban is used to treat deep vein thrombosis (DVT; a blood clot, usually in the leg) and pulmonary embolism (PE; a blood clot in the lung). Rivaroxaban may be continued to prevent DVT and/or PE from happening again after initial treatment is completed.
Storage
Store at room temperature away from water.
Precaution
This medication can cause bleeding. To lower the chance of getting cut, bruised, or injured, use great caution with sharp objects like safety razors and nail cutters. Use an electric razor when shaving and a soft toothbrush when brushing your teeth. Avoid activities such as contact sports. consult your physician or pharmacist before taking this medication
