It contains atenolol + Chlorthalidone. It is a beta blocker with diuretic combination .
Atenolol reduces the work load on the heart and Chlorthalidone reduce the hypertension by increasing the flow of urine.

In patients receiving thiazides, sensitivity reactions may occur with or without a history of allergy or bronchial asthma.
Blokium Diu should not be given during pregnancy or lactation.
