Screening is recommended according to age groups for all individuals to keep track of their health and identify health problems even when they are at subclinical levels. Strengthening the linkage of IMC Hospital with the community is a key to the delivery of screening and outreach services. These services include the following:
Pre-service & occupational health check -Standardized packages of pre-service medical evaluation/screening and occupational health examination are available at IMC Public Health. These packages are customized to the need of the requesting corporates and organizations.
High-risk groups screening - Such packages will focus on screening individuals exposed to various health risks, like obesity and smoking.
School health services - Student screening and health assessment are offered to public and private schools and colleges within DHA Lahore as well as in the other parts of the city. For any identified health issues, referrals will be made to IMC or other appropriate health facilities to ensure wellness and health during these critical years of growth.
Life/health insurance screening -Another area of screening services at IMC Hospital includes risk assessment for obtaining life/health insurance. Linkages with insurance companies are being established for providing this service.
Outreach screening services -Outreach screening is conducted for high-risk population groups. One such example will be mobile mammography units, which will be used to carry out screening of women above 40 years of age in Lahore as well as in other cities of Pakistan.

Total body CT scan to help identify potential problems and diseases before symptoms appear

Low-dose radiation chest CT to screen for lung cancer in present and former smokers
