Introduction
Dr. Zubair Ahmed is a Professor of ENT and Head-Neck surgeon. After graduating from King Edward medical college in 1982, he joined Pakistan Army Medical Corps and had a meritorious service of about 30 years. He was awarded Tamgha-e- Imtiaz for his meritorious service. He retired as Brigadier and Professor from Army Medical College Lahore.
He holds three fellowships in his field namely FRCS(Glasgow), FCPS(Pakistan), and FICS( USA). In addition, he holds a Diploma from the Royal College of Surgeons of England and a Diploma in Medical education from the College of physicians and surgeons.
Dr. Zubair is an eminent ENT Surgeon with more than 35 years of experience in the field; apart from pre fellowship training in Pakistan, he had clinical training from Royal National ENT Hospital, Holborn, and from Royal Ear hospital London. He has also worked as Head of Department in Armed Forces Hospital Saudi Arabia. He has extensive experience in conventional as well as endoscopic, cosmetic, and Head-Neck surgery. His special field of interest is the treatment of cancers of Head-Neck cancers.
He has a huge list of satisfied patients who benefitted from him as ENT surgeons ; besides them scores of junior surgeons have been trained by him who are now successful consultants.
