Dr. Syed Muhammad Hussain Zaidi is a highly skilled and accomplished consultant in the fields of pulmonology, critical care medicine, and general internal medicine. With a strong educational foundation, he earned his MBBS degree from Nishtar Medical College, Multan, and pursued further qualifications with MRCP Ireland and MRCP UK. Dr. Zaidi passion for continuous learning led him to complete his general professional training in Ireland before specializing in pulmonology and general medicine through a comprehensive training programme from leading university teaching hospital including Adelaide and Meath University Hospital Dublin, St Vincent University Hospital Dublin, Beaumont University Hospital Dublin, Mater Misericordiae University Hospital Dublin His expertise further expanded with a fellowship in intensive care medicine and heart and lung transplant.
Having gained invaluable experience during his eight-year tenure as a consultant in a leading teaching hospital in the UK, he returned to his home country, Pakistan, in 2020. Since then, he has been at the forefront of the fight against COVID-19, leading the Covid intensive care unit at a renown Hospital in Lahore.
