Introduction

Prof. Kamran Butt is a consultant Sports Medicine, Orthopedics, currently practicing at IMC Hospital, in Lahore, Pakistan. He is trained in UK and Ireland and worked there for over 17 years. He is Pakistan's first Orthopaedics surgeon to have a diploma in Sports Medicine as well as fellow faculty of Sports and Exercise Medicine Royal Collage of Surgeons in Ireland (FFSEM). Prof Kamran pioneers sports medicine, arthroscopic surgeries in Pakistan and specializes in both Knee/ Ankle and Shoulder /Elbow key hole surgeries having helped the careers of many professional athletes in a variety of sports in Pakistan. He is a professor and director of trauma services at renown medical college in Pakistan. he is ATLS, ACLS and BLS trained instructor. Professor Kamran Butt is also a member of AANA, ESSKA,BASEM and an executive ,ember of the Pakistan Arthroscopy Forum. He is an international faculty and member of Europe Knee Association. He served Pakistan Football Federation as a consultant.
