Graduated from King Edward Medical College Lahore in 1982. Immediately after graduation, he joined
the Department of Neurology at Mayo Hospital Lahore, which was the first and the only Neurology
department of Punjab at that time. Worked there as a Trainee, Registrar, Senior Registrar and then
Assistant Professor of Neurology at King Edward Medical University Lahore. In year 2009, he was
appointed as the Head of Neurology Department at Fatima Jinnah Medical University/ Sir Ganga Ram
Hospital Lahore. He worked there till retirement, as the Head of Department and retired as Associate
Professor of Neurology. He is the pioneer of the current fully equipped Neurology department in SGRH.
He has more than 40 years of experience in dealing with all kinds of patients with neurological problems
such as Migraine, Headache, Epilepsy, Stroke, Parkinson’s disease, Dementia, Alzheimer’s, Neck and
Back pain, Depression and Anxiety. Also working as supervisor and examiner for FCPS Neurology by
College of Physician and Surgeon Pakistan, MD Neurology for University of Health Sciences and King
Edward Medical University Lahore.
