Introduction
Dr. Amer Khan has more than thirty years of experience in Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery from UK and New Zealand. He went to UK in 1988 for Surgical training, after completing his Fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1992, he continued to work in UK until 1997 gaining more experience and learning new techniques. He then moved to New Zealand in 1998 and has been working there as Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon up until now. He brings with him vast experience in Advanced Elective Orthopaedic procedures as well as Fracture Surgery. He has also been actively involved in training of resident surgeons for number of years.
Dr. Amer Khan has a vast experience in Orthopaedic and Trauma surgery and treats his patients according to the latest western medical standards. He pays particular attention to patient safety, emphasizing not only on the quality of surgical procedure but also on pre and post operative care. He follows The ERAS ( Enhanced Rehabilitation after Surgery ) protocol. His regime helps patients get back to their functional level in a timely and efficient manner.
