Joint Replacement, Arthroscopic Surgery and Complex Trauma.
Introduction
Dr. Adeel Hamid specializes in Complex Trauma, Joint replacement, and Sports injuries/arthroscopic surgery. He also runs a comprehensive musculoskeletal pain relief service utilizing various modalities including intra-articular injections and different injections for lower backache.
Dr. Adeel Hamid is a graduate of King Edward Medical College (2003). He holds MRCS from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow and has done FCPS in Trauma and Orthopaedics from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan.
Dr. Adeel has trained under the supervision of his father Prof Hamid Qayum, who was a renowned Orthopaedic surgeon. He has worked in the famous Uniklinikum Aachen in Germany to complete a fellowship in Complex trauma and has worked in Walsall Manor Hospital UK to complete Fellowship in Joint replacement and sports injuries.
Currently, Dr. Adeel is working at Lahore General Hospital as an Associate Professor of Orthopaedic surgery and supervisor for mini-fellowship in Joint replacement.
Dr. Adeel Hamid is a faculty member of AO TRAUMA and teaches Orthopaedic surgeons at various national and international courses.
