Professor Muhammad Ashraf Sultan — MB DCH MRCP FRCPCH(UK) Master Tropical Paeds (Liverpool)
An eminent pediatrician, teacher, and international leader in child health with over 45 years of distinguished service.
Prof. Sultan has served as Professor and Chairman Department of Pediatrics at King Edward Medical University and Mayo Hospital, where he trained and mentored generations of pediatricians. He is Founder, Chair and Patron of the Pakistan Pediatric Association's Infectious Diseases Group.
Internationally, he has served as a member of the Standing Committee of the International Pediatric Association (IPA) and was Chair of its Working Group on Polio Eradication. He is also Editor-in-Chief of the Asia Pacific Journal of Pediatrics & Child Health and a recipient of the Asia Pacific Pediatric Association (APPA) Outstanding Asian Pediatrician Award. He contributes to global medical education as an Examiner for the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health in the UK, participating in annual Board meetings to review and uphold the quality of examination standards.
Through his leadership in infectious diseases, immunization, and child health advocacy, he continues to shape pediatric care both in Pakistan and globally.
